Gowanus PT is a d/b/a of Daniel Seidler Physical Therapy, PC. The Running Movement Score and the STAN back-pain assessment are educational assessment tools. They produce classifications and biomechanical insight. They are not medical diagnoses and do not create a physical therapist–patient relationship on their own. See the Medical Disclaimer.
A clinical relationship begins only when you book and complete an evaluation with Daniel Seidler, PT.
Clinics shown in your assessment results are selected editorially from publicly available information. We are not paid by them, we do not vouch for the care they provide, and we do not coordinate your visit. Verify licensure, credentials, and insurance participation yourself before booking. Daniel Seidler, PT, works per diem at Ivy Rehab locations in Brooklyn; those clinics are ranked by the same criteria as all others.
Nothing on this site is for emergencies. If you have saddle numbness, new bowel or bladder changes, progressive leg weakness, or symptoms following significant trauma, seek medical care immediately or call 911.
Nothing on this site is for sale right now. The back pain assessment is free and always will be. The Running Movement Score is not currently running — you can join the waitlist, which costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Physical therapy evaluations and treatment are arranged directly with Daniel and are quoted before anything begins.
If and when the Running Movement Score reopens with paid plans, this section gets rewritten with the price, the delivery commitment, and the refund and cancellation terms before a single payment is taken.
The site, the Running Movement Score methodology, the STAN classification logic, and all copy and design are owned by Daniel Seidler Physical Therapy, PC. Anything you submit remains yours. Because the back pain assessment runs entirely in your browser, we never receive your answers in the first place — only anonymous counts, which contain nothing that belongs to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daniel Seidler Physical Therapy, PC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or its assessment tools.
Nothing here limits liability for professional negligence in the delivery of physical therapy care, for personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Those protections are yours and we are not trying to contract around them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
